Metal file for making sharp edges and flat surfaces!
Specific file structure allow sharpening in any direction.

Stainless steel file able to cut in any direction as with sandpaper.
No need to care about grinding direction.
In general, sandpaper and backing material used for surface grinding have a slight cushioning effect due to the adhesive (d.g. double-sided tape,) between them, which may cause a slight edge-sagging when sharpening.
Edging File is a metal file with no cushioning, ensuring a neat, sharp edge.
