The Burned Man was once Joshua Graham, co-founder and First Legate of Caesars Legion, but those bridges were burned following his units defeat in the First Battle of Hoovers Dam. Caesar decreed that he face execution for such humiliating failure, ordering him burned alive and thrown into the Grand Canyon.

Astonishingly, he survived. Broken and in agony, crawling into the Wasteland where his perseverance and belief could lead him to be a mysterious ally or vengeful enemy.
