This 1000 piece puzzle is of a beautiful painting by Vincent van Gogh from Arles at night time and preceded the better known work, “the Starry night”. it shows his intrigue with the challenge of painting at night. The Vantage point he chose for this painting allowed him to capture the reflections of the gas lighting in Arles across the blue water of the Rhone, in the foreground, a couple stroll by the Banks of the River. This painting is located at the muse dorsa, Paris. It makes a wonderful puzzle because of all the subtle colors of the stars, the yellow reflections on the water, the blue and gray of the water and the shoreline and the colors of the town in a line in the distance.
