Pairs is a new classic pub game designed by James Ernest and Paul Peterson. Its a simple press-your luck card game with no winner, just one loser. The deck is 55 cards, numbered 1 through 10, with 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, and so on up to 10×10. Its simple, fast, and fun.
The Pairs: Muses deck is based on the Girl Genius web comic by Phil and Kaja Foglio, and is illustrated by the Foglios and colorist Cheyenne Wright. The deck features nine Muses, historic constructs who served as advisors to royalty. It also includes the rules for Regent, a courtly bluffing game for 2 to 4 players.
